Rebuilding, Again

Rebuilding, Again

Every few years, I get the same itch — to take everything I’ve learned, unlearned, and made, and rebuild the space that holds it all together. I was taught this rhythm back in art school: to treat a portfolio not as a fixed archive, but as a living document that evolves as your thinking and making evolve.

My last full rebuild was in 2021, and since then my practice has grown — particularly on the road toward becoming a senior designer. The next iteration of my portfolio will take that growth and channel it into something larger than a collection of assets. I want to build an ecosystem — where each project connects as part of a wider story about design, art direction, and how ideas come to life.

The first project will dive into learning design, but through a broader lens — blending narrative, motion, and art direction into something layered, cohesive, and alive. It’s about creating experiences, not just deliverables.

After that, the new portfolio will expand into web and visual design, short-form video adverts, and a few other exciting pieces still taking shape. It’s going to take time to pull it all together, but by this time next year, I’m hoping it will start to feel tangible.

Right now, I’m deep in the first project — a playful, cutting-edge learning experience centred around letterforms and typography. I don’t want to give too much away just yet, but it’s shaping up to be something fresh, immersive, and full of character.

More soon.
