About the studio

Ciro Correia is the individual creator.

Ciro Correia Studio is the independent creative and publishing identity through which his original worlds are developed, produced and released.

The studio exists to give stories the time and space to grow across books, comics, illustration, animation and physical editions without being confined to a single medium.

Its guiding principle is simple:

Stories first.

The studio is built around a small group of complementary creative functions:

  • Studio dreams and plans.
  • Canon protects established truth.
  • Archive delights in discovery and atmosphere.
  • Editorial is meticulous about language.
  • Production thinks in terms of making and delivering.
  • Handbook asks how the studio can continue doing its work well.

Together they provide a dependable home for long-term independent creation.

About Ciro Correia

Author, Illustrator, Designer and World-Builder

Ciro Correia is an author, illustrator, designer and independent creator based in West Sussex, England.

His work brings together storytelling, drawing, painting, graphic design, animation and moving images to create original fictional worlds that can be explored across more than one form.

He is the creator of The Silent Dance of Stars, Bloodbath on Unholy Island and The Grey House.

Across these projects, Ciro works as both writer and visual artist: developing the stories, characters and mythology while also creating the illustrations, covers, archive material and wider visual identity surrounding each world.

His work moves between the intimate and the strange—quiet human moments, dark humour, folklore, horror, memory, mystery and the sense that a larger world continues beyond the edge of the page.
