Subject: Unidentified Tow-Truck Driver
The Archive maintains a small collection of reports concerning motorists stranded along the old roads north of Memphis.
The circumstances vary.
Flat tyres.
Overheated engines.
Empty fuel tanks.
One account simply states:
LOST.
Several reports mention an ageing tow truck appearing despite no call for assistance having been made.
Descriptions of the driver are less consistent.
Young.
Old.
Thin.
Talkative.
Quiet.
One witness remembered only his name.
Prince.
Attempts to locate a permanent depot or telephone number have been unsuccessful.
This does not appear to have affected the service.
Archivist's Note
Prince has never advertised.
Apparently desperation provides sufficient directions.
